Ventilation

A fresh stable climate is essential for well-being of the cows. In order to naturally ventilate a building it is important that the inlet and outlet of air are geared to one another and to the animals present in the building. The outlet is the most important factor, because the inlet of fresh air is strongly determined by the extent in which warm damp air is being removed. We deliver several ridge constructions for a quick elimination of "polluted" stable air.

It is very important that the sidewalls are sufficiently open. To close those sidewalls in bad weather conditions there are several systems available, that can be more or less automated.

In order to increase the well-being of the cows and to keep up the food consumption during the warmer days in summer, the use of the Brouwers E-fan is very effective. It is especially designed to circulate very large amounts of air (approx. 40.000 m³ per hour).
